Sept. 14 Portraits in the Park are a couple of weekend dates we set aside specifically for family portraits. This year we have two locations, the Twin Cities and Duluth. The Twin Cities dates are Sept. 25-27th and Oct. 16-18th. The Duluth dates are Oct. 2-4th. Times for the sessions range from Friday afternoon, all day Saturday and Sunday early-mid afternoon.
These park sessions happen at a great time of year! First, it is always the right time to photograph your family; you’re not guaranteed tomorrow. Second, the colors; trees are changing and the air is starting to get crisp. Finally, the holidays are just around the corner. Don’t wait until the last minute and throw something together to send out to friends and family; our cards receive rave reviews. I’m not kidding! I have had more than one client tell me that they have gotten phone calls from friends just to tell them how awesome their card was.
During your session we will photograph the entire group in addition to any smaller groups (such as the kids). Our style of photography is a mix of semi-traditional posed images plus the not-so-posed "fun" images. Most importantly, the session is relaxed! Plan about 30-45 minutes (kids and husbands always want to know this).
Images will be available to view online approx. 2 weeks from the date of the session. In addition to viewing your images, you’ll be able to select from a gallery of holiday card designs (or for a little bit more, we can custom design one just for you.)
The session fee is only $50 and space is limited. If you reserve your date and time by Sept. 19th you’ll receive a $50 studio credit to go towards your order. We are offering a couple of special packages for these dates. For more information about the sessions, products or pricing please e-mail the studio.
